The 29th Annual National VPPPA Conference will take place August 26-29, 2013, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The four-day conference offers attendees countless opportunities to network, learn and advance as leaders in occupational safety and health. Features include: two full days of workshops addressing current safety, health and environmental issues; inspiring keynote and general session speakers; the VPPPA Expo 2013 with vendors showcasing their cutting-edge products and services; and evening receptions and other social activities that provide the perfect setting for attendees to network and exchange best practices.

VPPPA conference participants represent a wide range of individuals involved in safety and health. Safety and health managers, employee safety team members, industrial hygienists, union representatives, consultants, environmental health specialists, human resource managers and government agency representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Energy (DOE) all come together for networking and education.

The Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel will again be the host venue for the next conference! The event will take place the week of September 10-13, 2013, with Exhibitor setup and Pre-conference Workshops beginning on Tuesday, September 10. The Opening Session will take place on Wednesday, September 11 and the conference will adjourn before noon on Friday, September 13.

We are extremely pleased to be returning to this venue which is at the end of Savannah’s historic and active visitor destination, River Street. All events are housed within the hotel venue, so you just walk from your room to any of the sessions or activities.
