Rough Terrain Forklift Trainer Upgrade

Rough Terrain Telehandler ForkliftOur Rough Terrain Forklift Trainer Upgrade Program is exclusively for IVES Certified Trainers of forklift operators who wish to acquire the technical knowledge needed to train operators of rough terrain variable reach (telehandler) forklifts. Our Train the Trainer programs aren’t make or model specific, our training covers concepts common to all types of forklifts including Gradall, Skyreach, Sky Trak, CAT, GEHL, JCB, Lul, Lift King, CASE, Sellick, TCM, Eagle Picher, and New Holland. This upgrade course is delivered on an open enrollment basis at select training facilities. This 1-day program will upgrade a trainer’s certification credentials to include the Rough Terrain Variable Reach Forklift (Industrial Truck Association Class 7). All program attendees will gain technical knowledge of this equipment through classroom study and hands-on exercises.

Important Details:

  • Please be aware that attendees of all training programs delivered by IVES must have functional English language reading, writing and speaking skills.
  • Load charts are detailed extensively, therefore, basic math skills are required.
  • Trainees must be IVES Certified Forklift Trainers prior to attending.
  • Trainees will be sent a Rough Terrain Forklift Operator Reference Manual prior to the program for review and completion. Each trainee must bring their completed workbook to the program.
  • Trainees should have experience working on and/or with the equipment addressed in this program.
  • Operator credentials are not issued during this program.
