Aerial Lift Train the Trainer Instructor Certification

Prerequisites:Please be aware that attendees of all training programs delivered by IVES must have functional English language reading, writing and speaking skills.

Program Fees

$1250 per person plus HST - Payable to IVES Training Group, Inc.



Delivered at selected training locations on an open enrollment basis, the Aerial Lifts Train the Trainer Certification Program trainees receive in-depth instruction on the aerial lift equipment as well as extensive instruction on how to effectively train operators. Each trainee's knowledge and demonstrated skills in all aspects of the program are evaluated and graded prior to certification.


Program Details - Aerial Lifts Train the Trainer

Program Duration: Four (4) days

Equipment:
- Aerial Boomlift: Articulated "Knuckle" Boom, and Telescopic Boom
- Aerial Work Platform: Scissor Lift and Vertical Lift

Program Structure:
- Classroom theory training - 50%
- Practical hands-on training - 50%

Program Capacity: Maximum of 16

DAY 1
- Introduction and program requirements
- Trainer pre-test
- Program overview and objectives
- Review of applicable regulations and industry standards
- Classroom and practical instructional techniques
- Homework assignment

DAY 2
- Review Day 1
- Combined Aerial (Boomlift & Scissor lift) interactive theory training
- Review operator theory test
- Equipment pre-use inspection (hands-on)
- Practical training skills
- Practical training exercises (hands-on)
- Homework assignment

DAY 3
- Review Day 2
- Operator Practical Evaluation Form
- Practical evaluation skills
- Practical evaluation exercises (hands on)
- Homework assignment

DAY 4
- Review Day 3
- Master Trainer theory test (equipment theory)
- Documentation/certification procedures
- Establishing site & equipment-specific operator training program and lesson plan
- Final written examination (instructional techniques)
- Program review and wrap-up
