Important Details
- NOTE: Trainees should have experience working on and/or with the equipment addressed. Operator credentials are not issued during this program.
- Trainees will be sent a counterbalanced forklift operator reference manual ("workbook"). The trainee must read the entire workbook and complete the quizzes (pages 23-24, pg 52, 53-54 & 68-69) and bring their completed workbook to the program. Completion of the workbook is mandatory and successful completion of this express training program depends on it.
- A portion of this program will be outdoors. Trainees should wear appropriate clothing and steel-toed shoes, if possible.
- Lunch will be provided on both days.

This forklift safety training program is specific to the counterbalanced forklift and, while not as extensive as our flagship 4-Day Trainer Program, it is the best quality 2-day forklift trainer certification program available.
Program Details - 2 Day Express Forklift Trainer Certification

Forklifts Addressed:ITA Class 1: Electric Motor Counterbalanced Rider Truck:
- Stand-up or sit-down models with either solid or pneumatic tires
ITC Class 4: Internal Combustion Engine Counterbalanced Rider Truck:

- Classroom theory training - 70%

Our 2-Day Express Counterbalanced Forklift Trainer Program is delivered on an open enrollment basis at a number of our training facilities (see calendar for location details). IVES will teach your trainer everything they need to know about electric and engine-powered counterbalanced forklifts (ITA* Classes 1, 4, and 5) and how to effectively train your operators. (*Industrial Truck Association)
Each trainee's knowledge and demonstrated skills are evaluated and graded prior to certification. A working knowledge of the equipment and some experience in training people are definite assets for completing this program.

Prerequisites - 2 Day Express Forklift Trainer Certification
Trainees enrolled in the 2-Day Express Program will be sent a Counterbalanced Forklift Operator Reference Manual one week prior to the program for review and completion. Each trainee must bring their completed Reference Manual with them on Day 1 of the program. Due to the fast pace of this program it is recommended that candidates have a good command of the English language.
