Rough Terrain Forklift Upgrade - Train the Trainer

| Prerequisites: | Please be aware that attendees of all training programs delivered by IVES must have functional English language reading, writing and speaking skills. |
Important Details
- Trainees must be IVES forklift certified prior to attending.
- NOTE: Trainees should have experience working on and/or with the equipment addressed. Operator credentials are not issued during this program.
- Load charts are detailed extensively, therefore basic math skills are required.
- Trainees will be sent a Rough Terrain Forklift Operator Reference Manual (workbook) a minimum of one week in advance of the program. Trainee(s) must read the entire workbook and complete the quizzes and bring their completed workbook to the program. Completion of the workbook is mandatory and successful completion of this training program depends on it.
- A portion of this program will be outdoors. Trainees should wear appropriate clothing and steel-toed shoes, if possible.
- IVES reserves the right to reschedule or cancel this training program for reasons including low enrollment and logistical difficulties.

The Rough Terrain Forklift Upgrade Program is designed for IVES-certified trainers of powered mobile equipment operators who wish to acquire the technical knowledge needed to train operators of rough terrain variable reach forklifts. This program is delivered at selected training locations on an open enrolment basis.
Program Details - Rough Terrain Forklift Upgrade
This one-day program is designed for IVES- forklift certified instructors and will upgrade their credentials to include the Rough Terrain variable reach forklift. All program attendees will gain technical knowledge of this equipment through classroom study and hands-on exercises.

Pre Program Requirements - Rough Terrain Forklift Upgrade
Trainees enrolled in the Rough Terrain Forklift Upgrade Program will be sent a Rough Terrain Forklift Operator Reference Manual a minimum of one week prior to the program for review and completion. Each trainee must bring their completed manual with them on the Day 1 of the program.
